Big Jon’s comeback to the music scene has been marked by steady progress and nonstop dedication. Following the release of his EP on January 1st, 2025, he spent the year grinding through small open-mic performances across Baltimore. During this time, he also appeared on numerous podcasts, received media coverage through published articles, and was interviewed by the internet radio station Chicago 77.3, helping expand his presence beyond local audiences.
As 2025 continued, Big Jon focused on releasing new music, including the single Level Up, which was recorded at Lounge Studios in New York City on September 3rd, 2025. By October, he was back in Baltimore recording additional tracks, beginning with Don’t Mess With the Flock. This diss track took aim at the Baltimore Ravens organization, calling out the team’s poor on-field performances and lack of playoff success throughout the Lamar Jackson era. The song was released on November 5th, 2025.
He later dropped another single titled Persona on December 24th, 2025. Big Jon is now preparing to release The Flames, a new single expected to arrive sometime in January. Despite the steady output, he has been working tirelessly to secure a manager or agent who can help push his career toward mainstream exposure. His long-term vision includes touring across the country and collaborating with top-tier artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae, Megan Thee Stallion, Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, and more.
Originally inspired by doing this for his mother, Big Jon faced heartbreaking loss again when his grandmother passed away in October at 89 years old due to kidney failure. The two shared a deep bond, and after her funeral in November, Big Jon promised to continue chasing his goals in order to honor her memory and make her proud.
As he moves into 2026, Big Jon has no plans to slow down. He intends to travel to Los Angeles in March to record a new single titled Reload, while continuing to perform live, seek management representation, and capitalize on any opportunity that comes his way. No matter the obstacles, Big Jon remains committed to his path.
